Peru Andes Guide has been offering guiding services since the 1970s by Emilio Alvarado Fabian when it started as a family-run business to provide logistics support for guided expeditions in the Peruvian Andes. Recently, through the passion and dedication of the next generation of guiding in the family, Peru Andes Guide has expanded its services. Second-generation owner and founder, Peter Alvarado Henostroza, is an internationally certified UIAGM/IFMGA guide specializing in rock, ice, and alpine climbing, mountaineering, and expedition organizing with a focus on South American tours. His skills have also been applied to leading North American alpine outfitters, including the American Alpine Institute, RMI Expeditions, Cosley & Houston, and Alpenglow Expeditions.
