Seat of the vast Incan Empire, Peru is a country rich in cultural history. Home to a section of the Amazon rainforest, Machu Picchu, the well-known Inca Trail, and Lake Titicaca, one of the highest lakes in the world, Peru offers an abundance of activities to keep you busy during your stay in the country. Peru is also a climber's paradise with an incredible 33 peaks over 6,000m. Make sure to put the Cordillera Blanca region on your itinerary if you aspire to do some mountaineering during your travels in Peru.

ALPAMAYO

Climbing Alpamayo (5,947m) is any alpinist's dream. The southwest face is not only aesthetically beautiful but also offers 1,200ft of challenging alpine ice to tackle. Alpamayo is typically done as a 7-day trip.

HUASCARAN

Challenge yourself to a demanding high altitude, expedition style, climb by taking on Peru's highest peak, Huascaran (6,768m). Take in the stunning views of the Cordillera Blanco from the summit of Huascaran and leave with memories of a lifetime. Climbing Huascaran can be done as a 7-day trip. An acclimatization package is also available.
