CERRO TRONADOR

Cerro Tronador (3,491m) has three peaks with varying levels of difficulty. It was named by locals in reference to the sound of falling seracs (tronador meaning "thunderer" in Spanish). This popular mountaineering objective is notable for the many glaciers covering parts of its flanks.
