Service Description

Day 1 - We meet at your hotel in Quito and transfer to a shelter in Cayambe (4,633 m) in the morning. Next, we will take an acclimatization hike by the moraines of the Cayambe volcano and pass overnight in huts. Before bedtime we pack our bags and prepare for the climb to Cayambe. Day 2 - Starting with an alpine start-time at 1:00 am, we go up to 5,790 meters which marks our summit. After an early departure in the morning, we will climb up the slopes of the glacier, until reaching the summit of Cayambe in 9-10 hours. From there we will descend and return to Quito.
